Saint Alphonsa Fraternity
Welcome to the internet home of Saint Alphonsa Fraternity! We are a small Franciscan Fraternity of the Secular Franciscan Order under the guidance of the Queen of Peace Region of the Secular Franciscan Order. The Franciscan Province of the Immaculate Conception in Holidaysburg, PA holds our Altius Moderamen (Higher Direction). The fraternity meets at the Church of the Epiphany in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, and was canonically established on October 10, 2010. We welcome all who have any interest in the Franciscan charism. Please check our pages for news of our activities, upcoming events and the current issue of our newsletter.
Our site contains some basic information about the Secular Franciscan Order, its origin, purpose and symbols, and the life of penance, going from Gospel to life and life to the Gospel. We invite you to review the material and inquire about the OSF should you have interest in how to become a Secular Franciscan.
